The Mind is a powerful part of your being and care must be taken to not only ‘train the brain’ for creative and health reason, but to overcome negative influences. One such source of negativity even the most tenacious of Mascot Brigade Pirates experiences on occasion is what we call “Mind Barriers.” In this blog we will look at the top five mind barriers that Brigadiers are confronted with in their journeys in R-World and some recommendations to right the sails on your ship of adventure. We all start powerful but only the strong will endure to rise from the ranks of a Pirate of Play to Brigadier in the Mascot Brigade. Be strong my fellow Pirates and Brigadiers.
Top 5 Mind Barriers
If you ‘see’ failure, invariably you will fail and truthfully winning starts with a ‘winning attitude’. Every Brigadier has started with a dream that most considerable highly unlikely. Every Brigadier see’s success and shifts their dream into a goal with daily objectives.
Great fortune only come to those willing to risk. Don’t be accepting of average and never allow your ship to be caught in the whirlpool of mediocrity. Only you can decide your future. Part of the route you take to gain treasures in R-World requires calculated risks. Should a Brigadier’s ‘risks’ result in temporary failure, respect this is part of the process of goal achievement.
Brigadiers have learned of the highly problematic aspect of modern adventuring is the suggestion of quick fixes. Nothing of merit happens quickly and in-fact the best approach is often the longest where a great foundation is laid and journey followed. Rather than search for the quick fix, consider daily short steps towards your goals. In sum these ‘short steps’ will not only help you attain your goals but leave a lasting foundation.
Whether conscious or subconscious, many potential Brigadiers will ‘self-destruct’ their efforts due to poor self-esteem. A variety of lifestyle choices are often responsible as in the case of diet, drugs and alcohol consumption. Don’t self-destruct, understand the path required to achieve your goals and greatness. This isn’t precisely rocket science but all adventure seekers in the Mascot Brigade require a nutritious diet and sufficient sleep, hence do so and don’t self-destruct.
Work is not to be feared and in-fact part of the lessons of being a Brigadier. Daily training should involve challenge. Completion of these challenges teaches that a committed effort is not to be feared. Rather than fear challenge embrace the opportunity to overcome obstacles. Each day is a step and each step is closer to your goals. Sweat more, fear nothing, set great goals and work for everything.
