Ahoy Mates! Nothing more relaxing or better than a juicy watermelon slice on the Mascot Brigade Clubhouse veranda. That watermelon is much more tasty when you harvest it right out of your own backyard garden.
Ahoy Mates! No Mascot Brigade Brigadier or Pirate of Play can achieve their promise if they fail to manage a proper diet. Simple, yet profound and any suggestion otherwise is hogwash! Brigadiers, without the proper dietary support the utmost potential of an athlete or R-World adventurer will not be realized.
Ahoy mates, While traveling the seas and wonders of R-World you must remain limber and free of injury. Today we have a simple injury prevention exercise from the famed DMC™ Dojos, a favorite on Mascot Island, The Bridge. The Bridge comes to us courtesy of Renegade Training which is located in the human world known aka The Mysterious Scalene of R.
The Mind is a powerful part of your being and care must be taken to not only ‘train the brain’ for creative and health reason, but to overcome negative influences. One such source of negativity even the most tenacious of Mascot Brigade Pirates experiences on occasion is what we call “Mind Barriers.” In this blog we will look at the top five mind barriers that Brigadiers are confronted with in their journeys in R-World and some recommendations to right the sails on your ship of adventure. We all start powerful but only the strong will endure to rise from the ranks of a Pirate of Play to Brigadier in the Mascot Brigade. Be strong my fellow Pirates and Brigadiers.
Brigadiers, While Chess may not yet be a regular part of your school curriculum, it is a part of the Mascot Brigade’s curriculum. Why? Because it’s many positive ‘mind building’ effects that last a lifetime and improve your quality of living. A good adventurer is similar to a good soccer player in that they both understand triangulation and geometric progression.
Ahoy mates! I am Coastee and I am back with another great ‘Back to the Playground’ Fitness Tip: The Park Bench! While performing your #MascotBrigade / Renegade Training soccer ball dribbling drills make use of those park benches. They are great for a set of dips, decline pushups, even step ups on the more sturdier benches.
Brigadiers, See your dreams shift to goals. Work with daily objectives to achieve these goals with small steps and no thought of a “quick fix” solution. Do not fall victim of the “Losing Before You Start” Mind Barrier. Alexander III wrote: There is nothing impossible to him who will try. That is great advice
Ahoy Brigadiers & Pirates of Play, sometimes we need some added motivation to fuel our back to the playground adventures. Maybe you had a tough day at work, or a little tired from not eating properly? Whatever the case may be mate, we are here at the Mascot Brigade to help motivate our fellow brothers to have the best day the can possibly have at the playground.
Brigadiers, Keep a sharp eye out for fitness treasures that may lay hidden at your local park or playground. Pictured is a pristine set of parallel bars that I now make regular use of when I head back to the playgrounds of Mascot Island
Ahoy Brigadiers & Pirates of the Playground! As we travel the seas in search of adventure I would like to pull into port and find a DMC Dojo where we can demonstrate an injury prevention tip worthy of a #MascotBrigade Approval stamp.
Whether playing on the many playgrounds of Mascot Island, exploring the unknown in the Scalene of R, or competing in various sports like soccer, wrestling, baseball or football at R-World’s Gateway on the Right Coast, a Brigadier must always be at the top of their game which means they need to be flexible and injury free. One of the easiest and most efficient methods to accomplish these tasks are Field Marshal (fancy word for coach & founder or Renegade Training International) John Davies’ RED2 lunge patterns.
In what was set to be a special, award filled, night for Coastee and his Mascot Brigade but ended in a heinous act of bullying that left Mascot Coastee in the hospital.
Everyone knows by now Brigadiers of the Mascot Brigade love to head to playgrounds around the world to just play and that includes sports too!
Soccer is by far the favorite of all sports here at MascotBrigade Headquarters, and when Brigadier General Mascot Coastee decided he wanted to put a team together to challenge other communities in their local parks he turned to the Mascot Brigades very own Field Marshal, Coach John Davies.
John Davies is an internationally respected authority and author on the beautiful game of soccer.
