To say it was anything less than an all out war between two highly skilled combative athletes from different countries would be an understatement. “The Asian Assassin” Setsu Ginsu did not make any friends at the RCP Arena (Greater Newark Boys and Girls Club of Delaware) Saturday night when he, and manager Clarke Kelly, hijacked the megatron and plastered a Japanese Imperial Navy Flag over Right Coast Pro Wrestling’s big screen as if it were there HomeComing. Of course they came out on stage waving the same flag.
America’s Best Colton Quest would have none of it and upstaged the Asian Assassin by having America’s Stars and Stripes replace the Japanese Flag on the screen, and having Mascot Coastee’s Brigadiers in training pass out flags.
The niceties ended at that as these two elite athletes locked horns and battled for over twelve minutes of non-stop action that spilled out of the ring and around the guardrails.
The action was extremely physical and just as Colton Quest sensed victory and climbed to the top rope to deliver his patented Frog Splash, Setsu Ginsu showed veteran like ring awareness and pulled Referee Clayton in Colton’s path. After coming too and obviously concussed, Ref Clayton was convinced by Clarke Kelly that Colton Quest intentionally splashed him and demanded he be disqualified. Dazed and confused, Ref Clayton sided with Kelly and called for the bell declaring Setsu Ginsu the victor. One thing we know for sure is this looks to be just one battle in what is going to develop into a huge war. November 19th these two Delaware professional wrestlers are scheduled to compete at RightCoastPro for their famous Strange Happenings annual event where every match has a “strange” stipulation to it.
