Right Coast Pro Wrestling’s annual “Strange Happenings” Delaware Event was the scene. The RCP Arena, aka The Greater Newark Boys and Girls Club of Delaware, was the hosting venue. Disco Dave and King Kaluha were the combative athletes, and that is where the normality’s ended.
On a night when anything can happen, and usually does, at RightCoastPro’s famous Strange Happenings Event, a Giant Pineapple appeared on the Megatron accompanied by music of ABBA and then Pro Wrestling Legend King Kaluha. Following King Kaluha were ten lumberjacks jacked up with attitude.
The Music of ABBA faded to that of the Bee Gees and Delaware Pro Wrestler Disco Dave followed by ten lumberjacks of his own.
The athletic contest itself was a very competitive battle that pitted experience vs youth.
Neither side appeared to have a decisive advantage until King Kaluha found himself involved in a tug of war between opposing lumberjacks. Buried beneath a mound of flesh, King Kaluha failed to make it back in the ring before Ref Jim Dixon finished his ten count. The match did not end there, however, as King Kaluha and his band of lumberjacks angrily stormed the ring and attacked Disco Dave, leaving him bruised and battered.
Winner of the match, but loser of the war: Dancing Disco Dave Only time will tell. Right Coast Pro returns to the Greater Newark Boys and Girls Club of Delaware on January 14, 2017 (permit pending of course)
