In one of the most shocking outcomes at Right Coast Pro Wrestling in Delaware’s Light the Night Community Event, Referee Jim Dixon pinned the Mexican Hardcore Champion Pedro Duro and successfully defended the RCP Official Championship in front of hundreds of fans packed into the Greater Newark Boys and Girls Club.
The challenge was issued from Pedro Duro only a week before Right Coast Pro’s first event of 2017. Referee Jim Dixon may not be a pro wrestler, or a professional athlete but he is not one to back away from any challenge. Saturday Night was no different, and to much of the Mid Atlantic and East Coast Pro Wrestling fans dismay, Jim Dixon not only defended his RCP Official Championship, he did so quite impressively. Dixon caught Pedro Duro with a back suplex and then a devastating spear to set up the pin fall. Special guest referee Ruby Rubino called the match straight down the middle and insured Pedro Duro got away with any of his usual Tom Foolery.
Winner by Pin Fall and Still Champion: Referee Jim Dixon
