The Heavyweights, Sean Royal and Tim Taylor, once again proved that they are the Best Tag Team not only in Delaware but on the Right Coast as they handed Sir Spaulding and his Savages, WCW and WWF, a resounding defeat inside a 15 foot steel cage.
It was a match that had to happen, Savages vs Heavyweights inside a steel cage within the RCP Arena in front of a packed house. The Greater Newark Boys and Girls Club came alive in a chorus of cheers and boos throughout this twenty minute battle to determine Right Coast Pro’s Tag Team Championship. Sir Spaulding’s Savages put together a brilliant plan, take out the Jr. Heavyweight Tim Taylor before he could get inside the cage, isolate Heavyweight Sean Royal in the cage, lock the door and then eat the key. The plan worked brilliantly…..
The Plan worked brilliantly at least for the first few minutes of this brutal match, until Tim Taylor managed to scale the cage and launch himself like a superhero into the fray to save his partner from further punishment. Slowly, the Heavyweights wore down their larger opponents before focusing on crippling Wildlife Cecil Whirlwind. With WCW down and out, the Heavyweights turned their attention to a retreating Wildlife William Fitz whom managed to get caught moments before escaping over the top of the cage.
The punishment for WWF getting caught? A superplex.
Winner by pin-fall: The Heavyweights
