The Renegade Concepts of Training
Athletic training programs must be based upon physiological concepts. If you are an athlete and your training program does not have an underlying physiological concept at its base, then how exactly are you going to improve performance? Most likely you will be training in a way not to improve performance but rather help ‘sell’ some form of exercise equipment.
Training must provide a return investment.
Training must take injury prevention into consideration.
Training must provide structure and focus.
Training must achieve balance and harmony
Training must improve your ability to ‘play’ your sport of choice.
Whether you utilize a Renegade Training, DMC™, or other training program is at your discretion, however for your athletic success insure that the program you’re your choosing satisfies the following Renegade Concepts of Training.
Movements are trained, not musculature
Efficiencies of movement reinforced
Motor patterning and grafting
Postural alignment is perfected
Stabilization in the most de-stabilized training environments
Force developed such that it can be projected, accepted and redirected at maximal levels
Incorporate chaos into your daily training.
The Renegade Concepts of Training
Hope this helps shed some light on the requirements needed within a training plan for athletic development. Be sure to incorporate these concepts with the Renegade Wheel of Conditioning for optimal results.
